A bit of History
The TechnoRehabLab was established in 2022 within the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences at Hasselt University, supported by the Voorsprongfonds program. Our mission is to create a center of excellence for lifelong learning, offering state-of-the-art, technology-supported devices to educators, clinicians, companies, and students. Our goal is to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals in applying rehabilitation technologies in clinical practice.
Building on this success, and leveraging the experience and expertise we've gained, we have expanded our efforts to develop multiple centers in Africa to address the significant and growing demand for rehabilitation services. We strongly believe that low-cost, portable technology can and should be a key solution in advancing accessible and inclusive rehabilitation for everyone, everywhere!
